We arrived at Zion National Park on July 18th. We traveled from the east entrance to the south side of the park, which meant we had to go through the middle of the park and two tunnels. I was nervous, but Tracy thought it fun!!
The campgrounds at the park were full, but we found a site just outside the entrance of the park and within walking distance of a park shuttle.

Waiting to go through second, narrow tunnel. Had to go single file for large vehicles (we qualified!) |

Waiting our turn for the tunnel |
Thursday, July 19th, we took the shuttle into the main portion of Zion National Park, did a few hikes and basically saw the views.

Town and Park Shuttles were very convenient |

Past this point, the hike continues as the "Narrows" with hiking in the River required |

Today, July 20th, we went to another section of Zion National Park - the Kolob Canyons. More great views...
After viewing Kolob Canyon, we ventured into Hurricane for lunch and "antique hunting" - Good day!
